Performance and development cycle

Over the last year, we’ve been gathering feedback about the university's performance management program used to assess the performance of staff in our former administrative/technical and professional/manager employment categories at the university.

We heard feedback from both staff and supervisors about the need for a more streamlined process, a desire to shift the emphasis to regular and meaningful conversations, and a greater focus on learning and development. Based on this feedback, we are working towards implementing enhancements for the next performance cycle.

In the interim, forms have been developed to assist you with this year’s performance and development discussions. The forms are intended to support staff and managers in rich dialogue about the past year’s successes. The forms also provide an opportunity for supervisors to recognize the achievements of their staff.
